Santarmes Leads Southern Maryland Over BCCC Volleyball with 3-0 Win

BALTIMORE, Md. – Tara Santarmes hit .833 with five kills and a match-high nine service aces to lead the College of Southern Maryland to a 3-0 (25-6, 25-11, 25-5) win over Baltimore City Community College on Tuesday evening at the BCCC P.E. Center.
The match was a brutal one for BCCC (0-2) as the Panthers had 27 reception errors to just five aces. The Hawks dominated the match by hitting .475 as a team with 26 kills, 27 aces and just seven errors.
Cassie Bell had six kills for CSM and Kelly Fagan added five kills and one assist.
Aviann Rose (Baltimore, Md.) led the Panther effort with two kills.
The Panthers embark on their first road trip of the season on Thursday when they travel to Bel Air, Md. to take on Harford Community College at 7 p.m.
