Roger Dickens is an Admissions Recruiter for Baltimore City Community College; however, before taking on this position, he was the all-time winning men’s basketball coach. Through his vision and tenacity, the 1990s basketball players in and around the city of Baltimore came to BCCC to learn from one of the best.
Dickens built a winning tradition throughout the years as the men’s basketball with some of the top players in the National Junior College ranks and enabled them to make the transition from self proclaimed high school players into top rated academic student athletes on and off the court.
Under Dickens tutelage, BCCC had risen from the ash head of the NJCAA to becoming one of the top basketball programs in the league. The sky was the limit from many of his players, coaches and students witnessing greatness at the community college level.
There are numerous stats and awards received by coach Roger Dickens; however, his overall success is in the experience and knowledge his players had gained over the years.
